I spent a lot of time blogging back in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first child. I then spent lots of time blogging about his first few years. Then, things got crazy, I had another baby, and blogging just didn’t fit into my schedule anymore.
In the spring of 2017, I was selected to be a part of the Birmingham Moms Blog. That was the inspiration I needed to start back blogging and get my website up and running.
I will write about all kinds of topics, including kids and family, my life as a mom, things in and around Birmingham, how to save money, organizing and more.
If there’s a topic you’re interested in reading about, please email me or hit me up on social media and I’ll be glad to create a post around it.
I have been a freelance writer for Starnes Publishing since April 2015. Their seven award-winning publications cover what no other news source in the greater Birmingham covers – the city council meetings, the local schools, the businesses, and most importantly the people that you and your neighbors care about the most. Starnes delivers the best local journalism straight to mailboxes and inboxes.
Read my published articles in 280 Living here.
While the majority of my articles appear in 280 Living, I also cover stories for other Starnes publications, including the Hoover Sun, Vestavia Voice, Cahaba Sun and Village Living. (You can click on the publication name to be taken to all my articles for that particular paper)
I get to cover stories about the community where I live by writing three stories each month highlighting people, events and happenings in Chelsea. You can check out my articles here.
I am currently a contributor on the Birmingham Moms Blog. My first article was published on their site in September 2017.
